Looking back on inspiring Supply Chain Boat lunches!
@WeY we have a good habit of organizing business Supply Chain Boat Lunches. In a sequel of lunches this spring and fall, we connected our network and we reflected on common and developments.
A few weeks ago WeY and the Service Logistics Forum (SLF), in collaboration with the DHL Innovation Center, organized a successful Supply Chain Boat lunch—an afternoon full of insights, exchange, and connection for companies in the logistics and manufacturing industries.
During this session, the DHL Innovation Centre presented the most important trends in logistics, such as:
- Collaboration in service logistics
- Digitization and data-driven chain management
- Circularity in supply chains
- GenAI and cybersecurity
- Supply chain diversification
- Global trade efficiency
In addition to inspiring presentations, participants engaged in discussions about their practical experiences with these developments. What did we learn? Many organizations are already taking concrete steps – from smart planning solutions to circular service concepts – but are still struggling to find the right balance between innovation, costs, and delivery reliability. The WeY Supply Chain Boat lunch offered participants exactly what is needed in this rapidly changing world: a moment to share, learn, and build future-proof chains together. A big thank you to all participants for their valuable contributions and open discussions, and special thanks to Francis Scholten (SLF), Simran Rohra, and Eric Martinez (DHL Customer Solutions and Innovation).
